Terms & Conditions

Article 1 - Description of services


Coussinets & Compagnie offers its customers a day and night animal care service through regular visits and walks to its customers' homes.


Visits and walks can be scheduled between 8 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Night shifts can be scheduled between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m.


For insurance and regulatory reasons Coussinets & Compagnie does not support 1st and 2nd category dogs.



Article 2 – Reservation of a pet sitting service, quote and invoicing


a) The reservation of a pet sitting service can be made by telephone at , by email at or via the website: 

The rates applicable to animal care services are also available via the website.


b) A free, with no obligation quote will then be sent to the customer. It is valid for 48 hours.


c) Upon acceptance of the quote within 48 hours, a free pre-visit is then scheduled with the customer. It allows a first contact with the owner and their animal, its environment, to know the desired care instructions and any information thus facilitating future visits.

The pre-visit is scheduled at least two days before the start of the service.


Coussinets & Compagnie reserves the right to refuse care if the animal is seriously ill, aggressive, unidentified or unweaned. 1st and 2nd category dogs are unfortunately not accepted.


During the pre-visit, we complete and sign together a care contract on the services to come with information on your animal and your contact details. The contract takes effect on the day of the signature of both parties.


Arrangement of payment will be made on the day of signing the contract.

The keys will also be given to me the same day. The keys are given back to the customer within 48 hours upon their return.


d) The reservation must be made no later than 48 hours before the start of the service, unless otherwise agreed by Coussinets & Compagnie.




Article 3 – Modification, cancellation and withdrawal period


  • In case of modification of dates already reserved, the customer agrees to inform Coussinets & Compagnie as soon as possible. If the change dates are already booked or the deadlines are not tenable, Coussinets & Compagnie reserves the right to cancel the service.


  • In the event of cancellation of the service after the pre-visit, a €10.00 charge will be invoiced to cover expenses.


  • In accordance with Article L121-20 of the Consumer Code, the legal withdrawal period is 14 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, period extended to the next working day).


In the event of cancellation of a service from Coussinets & Compagnie, the customer will be refunded in full.


In the event of cancellation of a service by the owner of the animal, after the 14-day withdrawal period:

  • 7 days before the first day of care, it will be reimbursed up to 50% of its payment

  • Between 3 and 6 days before the first day of care, no refund can be made and the care will be fully due.

  • If the cancellation occurs during the service, the entire service is due.



Article 4 – Obligation and responsibilities of the parties


Coussinets & Compagnie is committed to:

  • Take care of the entrusted pet, feed it, ensure its cleanliness and if necessary, take it to the veterinarian whose contact details are given in the contract.

  • Keep the owner informed as soon as possible if a problem arises during the service.

  • Ensure the presence of the animal when it leaves and cannot be held responsible in the event of an animal running away having access to the outside, or if a third person intervenes during the services, nor in the event of illness or natural death during the duration of the contract.

  • Do not transmit the coordinates of its customers to a third party.


Coussinets & Compagnie cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by the animal in the dwelling or its place of life during the period of the service, nor even to a third party and its property.



The owner of the animal agrees to:

1.             Remuneration:

  • The owner will have to pay the agreed sum.

  • Pay the costs advanced and incurred by the Pet Sitter during the care, in order to ensure the well-being and survival of the entrusted animal, on presentation of the invoices.

  • Paying any travel costs incurred - namely 0.60 euros/additional kilometer - and veterinary costs (visits and medication) are the responsibility of the customer.


2.             Provide:

  • The up-to-date health record booklet;

  • Food in sufficient quantity for the duration of the service;

  • The litter, its shovel and the products necessary for the hygiene care of the animal,

  • Any medical treatments and the prescription of the veterinarian,

  • Supplies (basket, bowls, toys, care products, etc.) for the well-being of the animal;

  • Transport container ;

  • Collar, harness, leash or lanyard, poop bags for walks;


3.             Communication:

  • Communicate all information concerning the health or behavior of the animal to Coussinets & Compagnie.

  • Have treated the entrusted animal against ticks, worms and fleas before the start of the service.

  • Inform Coussinets & Compagnie of the presence of a surveillance camera or webcam.


Any signature of a pet sitting contract by the client implies acceptance of the Terms & Conditions in force on the date of the day of signature of the contract.
